Didirikan pada tahun 1989, awalnya bernama Putra Samarinda sebelum berganti markas ke Bali dan mengubah namanya menjadi Bali United Pusam pada tahun 2014. Dari tahun 2001 sampai 2006 kita bermain di divisi pertama sebelum promosi ke Liga Super Indonesia. Saat ini kita bermain di QNB Indonesia Super League. Julukan kami adalah Serdadu Tridatu dan julukan untuk fans kami adalah Semeton Dewata
